Real Name: Sgt. John Halmer

Abilities: Able to direct unkown energy blasts from hands with explosive force.

Army Sgt. John halmer was a child of the military, both parents were career officers in the army and the Marines. John's mother submitted herself to testing on her unborn child to augment his genes so that later in life he would be a superior officer, she had no idea as to what he would become. Upon birth John's power started to manifest, with a strange purple aura that surrounded him until it yielded a blast of extreme power obliterating everything in the hospital room, including his parents and doctors. The military had their perfect weapon. John had to be fitted with a special containment suit created by the super scientist Edis and Rush  to dissipate the strange energies radiating from his body. John was conditioned in the covert military all his life, he was the ultimate soldier. At the age of 22 his body was breaking down from the unstable Wildcore gene that was introduced to him before birth. Dr. Edis and rush had to retrieve all Wildcore Subjects in order to inocculate all of them with a stabilizing agent.  Upon doing so helped Halmer to control his powers and refocusing the into concussive blasts, hence the codename "Blast". Halmer had to use a modified version of his containment suit in order  to direct and focus his blast, it also helped him to power down, lest he explodes again. Halmer and the rest of the Wildcore Subjects were placed in suspended animation,  in other words, the Wildcore project was scrapped and all subjects where either eliminated, contained or they self destructed by noy having the catalyst.  Sgt. John halmer, B16,  was awakened 80 years into the future along with M18.
